A Colorful Reminder

Sunday night we hosted the Roadrunners caravan that is based out of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Forty smiling faces came and spent the evening with us and we could not have enjoyed it more. To see these folks enjoying the fruits of many months and years of labor brought about a bundle of joy for our staff . The Roadrunners were a fresh reminder to all of us why Heritage is soon to be an industry leader. Heritage's intangible "Home on the Road" personality was on full display Sunday night as we all enjoyed a catered meal and an open bar. We as a staff understand that our guest are out to make everyday count. Good food and fun friends sure make it easier.

Most everyone spent the time they were here fellowshipping on our second floor balcony overlooking the bay. When you get here, you'll also discover that the views just don't get any better than our clubhouse and shoreline. We had a few surprise guests (dolphins) decide to play right off our pier for a few minutes.

The night was drawing to a close and I was visiting with some folks discussing several of the topics that people like to become well versed in when considering owning property on the gulf coast. We were discussing how owning in a Motor coach resort instead of a beachfront condominium helps minimize many of the things that can be burdensome to owners such as insurance, maintenance, etc. As we were starting to discuss how tropical weather may effect the land on which Heritage is located, I began explaining to them that we are one of the highest points in Orange Beach. In the midst of that train of thought I glance over the bay to see a rainbow. Full blown crayola box rainbow. I just laughed. You see, rainbows are to serve to mankind as a reminder that God will never again flood the earth the way he did in Noah's day (Gen 9:12-16). Thank you Lord for the colorful, timely reminder that You are faithful to your children.

I can't wait to let the good times begin here soon. Don't get me wrong, I have loved most every minute of being a part of this project from its inception but Sunday night reminded us all, this place is about the owners and guests enjoying life one sunset at a time and those days are right around the corner.

Eye Candy

These pictures are of the power pedestals on the pier, our first boat lift installed and ready for the Webb's boat, the coachhouse interior utilities intallation, and the clubhouse exterior. Also, a shot of our fireside pavillion located above the management office. If I catch any of you getting snuggly and acting like smitten teenagers up there by the fire, you'll be sent back to your coach!!
