The #1 killer of Beavers

For Starters Duke and I both added members to our families since the last post. While I cant speak for Duke I can tell you that my life has not been the same since January 11th when my number 2 decided she could be better served living on the outside instead of on the inside. We have been serving her around the clock ever since. I would post a picture if I could choose one out of the ten thousand and counting that have already been taken(praise the Lord for digital cameras!). Feel free to volunteer to babysit anytime. Do any of you know what has been proven to be the most frequent cause of death to beavers? I do and if you'll read this entire post and promise to come see us soon Ill tell you. Moving on. Heritage is taking shape and personality one guest and one new owner at a time. We are graced everyday with new faces that have new stories and adventures to share. We have loved getting to meet and know folks who are making the most of everyday and we feel blessed to be a part of the coach owners memories. Moving On. If you want to come see how to transform 275 sg ft into a cottage fit for a king, head this way. Most of the owners are redefining the camping lifestyle as they are taking what we originally meant for storage(thank the Tropfenbaums) and making the coachhouses into truly unique and beautiful living quarters. If the food that comes off the grill is as unbelievable as the outdoor kitchen itself that the Webbs have built, you must find a way to get them to cook you some of the fresh catch they bring home. Moving On. Old man winter. I dont know about where you live but we had one of the coldest three week stretches on record here at Heritage. You have to keep that in perspective as cold here verses cold where the Cowgills and Grows live is two different things. But nonetheless I had to bring a jacket to work. Spring is around the corner and all will be well again. Moving On. The #1 killer of beavers is..........falling trees that they cut down. Best of intentions just a little miscalculated on the landing claims the lives of beavers pretty regularly. Us humans have the same problem, we all see it and live it everyday. For all the bad news that we have to read about and sit through to watch the tv, I hope and pray that Heritage and your time here can be a positive time of refreshing for you and your family.
